The pros and cons of Christmas Eve
- efbq spent most of the day sick
- The car is right well effed; it demands oil every twenty miles or so, regardless of whether it just got it
- These two things (and two cranky kids) kept us from church this morning
- ...and any of these would have kept us from Bowling with Santa (and werewulf & Co.) this morning
+ No last day panicshopping this year!
+ Borrowed car from Sis
+ Got Sis to come along with us for the candlelight evening service
- Last minute wrapping still being done
+ Kid-1 wrote: "Dear Santa, Sorry, no carrots for the reindeer this year: Now, you're busy, so leave some cookies so you have time for all the houses. Don't worry, me & D will eat the leftovers.", and left it with some cookies and eggnog.
+ "Santa" happened to have some rum in the top cabinet goodies in his sleigh such that the eggnog could be properly enjoyed
+ Kid-2 took care of the star on the tree
