So i'm just confused as to what the hell is going on. I feel like i'm wasting my time now, and worrying myself to death.

Today...

I had a service at work, tohonor those whose lives have been lost. It was a fairly nice service, and they dropped a couple wreaths into the river. About 30 minutes into the service, one of the kids in the back, who was part of the honor guard, from one of the local high schools passed out. When I first heard what had happened, I passed it off as him locking his knees and falling. After about another 5 minutes, someone tapped my shoulder and asked me to come take a look at the kid. When I got there, he was unconscious, and barely breathing. We got him down on the ground, and then he stopped breathing. So I began rescue breathing. he had a pretty normal pulse, he just wasn't getting any air. After a bit of time, giving him some rescue breaths, he started breathing again, very weak. Almost after that, the paramedics showed up and carted him off to the hospital. Aperrently, he had some kind of diabetic attack, passed out, and stopped breathing. It didn't really hit me unitl I had drivin home, that the kid could have died, if we hadn't given him the care that we did. Damn, reality hits once and a while. Holy smokes...

There was a typical midwest-tpye parade in town today, which I attenended. There were a few bands, a bunch of old vets and a lot of american flags. It only lasted about 30-40 minutes, but a good time was had by all that attended.

After the parade, the neighbors invited me over to the parents house, and we cooked out and had some brews. To top it off, it was basically a beautiful 80 degree day, with very few clouds in the sky.

Goodnight, I have to work in the morning. Take care, and I hope everyone has a safe trip back home, and an enjoyable week.
