milwaukee
For my last event, I'm stationed in Milwaukee, WI. I'm staying at the Ambassador Hotel, which is so very nice :D This is of course at the chagrin of both my manager and my dad; both told me that Milwaukee isn't very far and I could have easily have driven here the day of my event (tomorrow).
Scott (manager) said, "You don't really need a hotel. It's only like an hour away."
True. From his house, it is. His house is an hour away from my house, which makes Milwaukee about 2 hours from mine. Also, I have to be at the school around 8am, which makes a two hour drive from IL at 5:30am unfavorable. So Scott (me) got a hotel.
The hotel is, as I said, very nice. It makes me wish I could have booked it for another day, especially since I got here so late.
I guess I'll go walk around downtown.
