10 days until my birthday!

--

next week is the pretty much the last week for book buyback events. michigan was fun, but it would have been nice to have traveled with someone else.

All these pictures were taken on my picture phone (misplaced my real camera). Some of the angles might be messed up because my screen cracked, leaving me with about 2/5 viewing space with a big orange circle in the middle. anyway..

I went to the Cubs/Reds game the night before I had to leave.

Sunny, right? Not for long. I believe it was the fourth or fifth inning when the storm clouds started coming.

Neato. Not more than 5 minutes after this picture, rain started pouring and people in the stands just rushed the hell out of there.

That's all I have of the Cubs game, unfortunately. We won, though.

I picked this up at a rest stop. Double decker Oatmeal Creme Pie. I didn't even know they made this shit. It sounded too good to be true. Unfortunately, I died shortly after consuming it.

This was my king size bed, complete with 5 pillows. Note to self: Must buy more pillows.

I figured with some sort of income, I could splurge a little bit. I found these at a local skateshop for $70, which isn't too bad considering a lot of skateshops around me mark their shoes up.

I remembered seeing a couple of billboards for the Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets (like the one on Farnsworth, but around a Lighthouse, apparently) on the way to Michigan, so I thought I would stop by on the way home. While I was there, I saw this:

Total Chuck E Cheese nostalgia, even though the one at Chuck E Cheese was more badass. Bonus points (for what? I don't know) for anyone who can tell me what Chuck E Cheese (the place) was formerly known as (as long as I've been alive, anyway (hint: i'm turning 22)).

I took this picture to basically make Jenny jealous. She wasn't completely, but she thought it was pretty cool. I didn't actually step in the store for fear that they would immediately kick me out for not being rich enough to shop there.

ps i didn't really die

birthday, cubs, shoes, job
