Anyways...at Clare and Don's Beach Shack last weekend I had this drink.  It was - as they made it there - black cherry Smirnoff vodka, Nellie & Joe's Famous Key Lime Juice, sours, Sprite, and grenadine.

The Scoff Law Cocktail
1 1/2 ounce rye
1 ounce dry vermouth
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3/4 ounce grenadine

Jack Rose Cocktail
1 1/2 ounce applejack
juice of 1/2 lime (or lemon - approximately 1 ounce)  Note: I got nowhere NEAR that much even with 7/8ths of a lime!
