What The Wind Blew In

Today was a day that I was not dreading, but not looking forward to.  It should be fun and exciting, but clothes shopping for Sonja is pretty stressful.  It's not that she doesn't like to shop - I'll have to get a 2nd job when she's older the way she likes to try on clothes and shoes.  It's that she's a little girl, but little girl clothes are tight on her.  I've tried Target, Kohl's, Macy's,and  Boscov's.  Things are usually touch and go but we can usually find stretchy pants and empire waist shirts.  As she gets older it just gets harder and harder.  This time I tried JC Penny's.  Jackpot!  I wish I had tried it sooner!  Cute jean shorts, dresses, skirts, and shirts.  We came out with a number of everything plus 3 bathing suits.  I wasn't as thrilled with the shoe selection, but that's not usually a problem.  We got some things to get us by.

I even got 2 pairs of shoes for myself, plus a blender and a scale....and found out I lost another 4 pounds.

We both put on a fashion show for my mom.  Now time to purge her closet to make room for her new things.  Now I can enjoy shopping for Sonja again. :)
