Am thinking about the different games cats play. I've got "Stalk" (stalking, chasing, and pouncing on a toy animated by a human), "Wrestle" (wrestling with either another cat, a wrestle toy, or a human hand), "Cat Tag" (being chased by another cat or human, then hiding, then turning it around and chasing the other cat or human), and possibly "Catch" (leaping after thrown objects, sometimes retrieving them). And then "solitaire" games like "Toss" (tossing a lightweight toy to his/herself and pouncing on it) and "Soccer" (batting and chasing a ball around). Any cat owners have any others?
Jules plays all of these except Catch (he looks at me like I'm nuts). Pixie plays all of these except Soccer, and with Catch will sometimes fetch the toy. Jules was playing Cat Tag with Lara yesterday, though Lara didn't quite catch on. Jules hid under the bed and then attacked from under the quilt.
