My little brother is an awesome photographer. Just so you know. His photos have such mood to them, and a real sensitivity to light, without being murky or unpleasant.
I changed the belt on our vacuum. It is an old vacuum, but fortunately somebody at Kirby has their head on straight, because Kirby vacuums, regardless of age, all use the exact same belt. Which probably drives their engineers nuts, as engineers forever coming up with cooler ways to do things, but homeowners are pleased.
The kitchen is clean. Clean.
At our team meeting at work today, we discussed the new snow day policy. Which is if the schools are closed, we can work from home. ::two thumbs up:: Yes.
The ferocious fall wind has arrived. My windchimes actually got tangled up in one of the gusts, and I let them stay that way until things got calmer, on the theory that they were less likely to be damaged if kept from swinging freely. Tuesday I wore my boots, and as I ran out to my car in the morning, and it was howling wind and wet and leaves flying, I reflected that this was exactly why I bought boots. For horrible messy gusty fall days, as well as the frigid icy snowy winter days.
