Got a lot done today.

It appears that adjusting to being on Adderall whilst at work is easier than adjusting to being on Adderall whilst having a day off.  'Cause at work I know what to focus on.  I can sit there and go through the numbers.  At home, suddenly I have to do things, or else I will be bored.  I'm not used to being bored, not to that level.

So I went the farmer's market downtown and bought an enchilada (a very good enchilada), and visited an artists' collective in search of a pendant, which I didn't find, then I came home and picked up my new windchimes (windchimes!) and started my laundry, and went to the mall where I found some sandals on sale, and then had lunch, and then went shopping again, this time picking up some cards and some plant food and a magazine and groceries, while also trying on clothes (didn't find anything I wanted to spend money on) and then I got home and wrote two short letters and finished the laundry, and by then the meds were wearing off, so I've been surfing the web.

Phew...

And it's more than just that.  My brain reaches conclusions faster, and is quicker to dismiss ideas.  I'm used to hemming and hawing and being indecisive.  So it's not a bad change, per se, but it is a change, and takes adjusting.  Hmm...

Oh, and last night at Geek Night, we watched Doctor Who and Merlin - most notably the second-season two-parter episodes of Merlin with the troll.  Those who've seen it will know exactly what I'm talking about.  Holy cow.  We were laughing our heads off, and could not fathom how the actors managed to get through any takes without cracking up.  Sarah Parrish is awesome and I love her, and it's a pity this is the only thing I've seen with her and Anthony Stewart Head.
