Angst
GaoElephant. GaoGiraffe. GaoBear and GaoPolar. Loki had taken them all and even though they always said they'd take them back in the next fight, sometimes it seemed like they never would.
AU
Bard Shirogane hurried through the corridors of the Palace, hoping to lose the incredibly persistent member of the Karsite delegation who seemed to have taken an interest in him, although for what purpose Shirogane wasn't sure he wanted to know.
As if in answer to his half-formed prayers, Healer Kai came out of one of the rooms just ahead of him, calling a farewell to whoever was inside. Putting on a burst of speed, Shirogane caught up with him and grabbed hold of the Healer's hand.
"Play along."
Crack!fic
Detective Shishi Kakeru closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again. Nope, Kai was still glaring at him. It wasn't fair that his friend and on/off... something, looked that good in a kimono and his face all made up. Even if it was for a case and not for... anything else. He swallowed hard, uncomfortably aware that Kai was no doubt going to be very creative as regards getting his own back.
Crossover
Kai rolled his eyes as Silver and Ayase continued their utterly stupid dancing around each other. Why didn't one of them just make a move already?
"Blue!"
He jumped, then turned around wearing his best smile, just in case. "Yes, Yuuri-chan?"
First time
Gaku thought it would be easy, defeating the thing the crazy woman who'd hijacked his plane had told him about. He was wrong.
Fluff
Gaku sighed as Kakeru fussed over Noble Eagle, crooning endearments and scratching the bird's crest. It was all very well that Kakeru was a vet and everything, but it could be a little embarrassing as well. Especially when it involved Kakeru chiding him in front of the entire clinic.
Humour
The sound of Yellow letting loose some creative cursing was just what Kai had been waiting for and he beckoned at White with a manic grin on his face.
"Where'd you hide it?"
"Somewhere he won't think of looking."
It was Yellow's own fault, Kai reminded himself virtuously as they scampered away. Like the guy could talk about spending time on his hair.
Hurt/comfort
Soutarou stroked Blue's hair gently, now thankfully dry. He'd never known Blue to be beaten in the water, let alone hurt this badly as a result. Blue's forehead was creased with pain, his eyes moving rapidly under his lids, as if experiencing a particularly vivid dream. He squeezed his friend's hand tightly, hoping it would help. Blue's expression eased slightly and Soutarou let out a soft sigh of relief.
Smut
There was, Gaku thought distantly, something vaguely wrong about all this, but he couldn't bring himself to care, too distracted by the way Kai's hands were wandering lower. If he'd still had the presence of mind to think beyond the pleasures of the moment he'd probably come smack bang up against the knowledge that Kai was something of a little brother and had been since the kid had bratted his way into Gaku's life. As it was, though, Kai seemed very determined to keep his thoughts otherwise occupied.
UST
Kakeru couldn't understand how Blue and Black could remain so oblivious to how the other felt. If it wasn't Blue being all over Black it was Black's sideways glances whenever he thought Blue wasn't looking. He wondered what it would take for the pair to realise just how things stood.
