Happy New Year peoples!
Well 2009 still feels alot like 2008.
Daryl and went out to Del Dantes for NYE dinner with Akeel, Yasmin, Amelia and John. They had a delicious gourmet four course meal on for $45. I consumed a few martinis Daryl and I split a bottle of Chilean Savignon Blanc. Afterwards we headded to Akeel's place for some Rockband and a very competative game of XBox Scene It. I love the show "Summer Heights High". It is ridiculously awesome. Everyone should watch it. It is too bad it only ran for one season.
It irked me that the top news story last night on my local channel broadcast was that John Travolta's son died. The next story was about the conflict iin the Gaza Strip. GET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT PEOPLE. Ummm, I really think the report on Gaza is a bit more important than the death of an American actor's son in the Caribbean. *facepalm*
Big scifi news today that Matt Smith was announced as the new Dr. Who. I'm annoyed that some people are upset by the casting choice. You haven't even seen him play the Doctor yet! Give him a chance. gah. Now I'm excited to see what his wardrobe will look like.
