Farm Addition
We finally have a new addition to our farm, a little black angus bull that I'm calling Little BullsEye. I was away at a science competition and John called Friday to tell me that our heifer had calved. Of course she would wait until I was gone. John was worried that he wasn't eating because he never saw him nurse but as full of life as he was I assurred him that the little bull was getting something. He's just so darn cute. It will be hard to part with him but from the get go we said if it was a bull it would be sold. We are hoping the next calf will be a heifer. We need more heifers.
I have also put my mare back up for sale. I want to get a new mini mare to breed. We cannot make any money from the full sized horses so I'm going to put me money into the minis. But, I need to sell my mare first.
