Got my New Balance trainers from JJB Sports. Let me tell you - I expected these to be more expensive. Nike, Adidas, Reebok et al claim that by having their shoes made overseas by Vietnamese, Philipino & Chinese people on starvation wages somehow helps them keep the price down. Nike's RRPs are in the region of £50-150. My New Balance shoes cost me £

i love my new balance trainers.. i've not seen them much in the UK i got mine in the states. I have a pair or normal ones for the gym and some great cross country running shoes that really rock and have twisted laces so they don't come undone... not cheap cheap.. 100 dollars? but i'm so glad i took a risk on em...

Dunno, but if you're after new UK made ones at any point, Sutton Runner in Boldmere, on the corner of Jockey Road, stocks the higher-end models. I may invest in a really posh pair when I'm a bit more flush.
