1K!...Mark 2!
Two days in a row! That’s a record for me.
Seriously, it is. Writing continually over the course of a few days has always been an issue for me, nevermind writing 1,000 words a day. Especially since I’m no longer in college and I don’t have due dates for assignments.
I didn’t write 1,000 words for “A Dragon Unborn.” I have a lot of material (That needs A LOT of editing and revising but I’m forcing myself not to dwell on that yet,) but I need to rewatch some more of season one before I go any further. Being OCD with smoothing out the rough draft? I am forcing myself to wait on that…it’s called a ‘rough’ draft for a reason.
Current status (I totally stole this format idea from someone else’s livejournal.)
· “A Dragon Unborn” = 1,838 (+614 from where it was yesterday).
· Other projects = +503
The other projects are just random things that I feel like writing as they come. Some will be fanfiction while others will be original ideas. If anything ends up being a longer project, like another multi-chapter fanfic for example, I’ll probably give it its own space on the status bar. Incidentally I need to see if there is a way to have an actually progress bar at the top of my page. That’d be cool to have.
As a final note. Blogging is surprisingly addictive. Even though I (as far as I know) only have two people reading my lj, one of whom I see online a few times a week and the other lives five minutes away from me. I’m still enjoying having an lj account. So yes, those of you who harangued me into signing up for an account, let me officially say this.
You were right. Now be quiet.
