Chii's pre-birthday gathering
Today was chiidesu's pre-birthday gathering so Mu, Chii, Greg, and I went to Puente Hills Mall to celebrate-o. We were going to watch The Grudge but Greg had to leave while we were in line to buy tickets because he had to be at school for a play at 7:00p. >.< We were desolate (especially Mu) for a while, but were soon distracted by the movie. xD The Grudge was scarier than The Ring (w007) but could've been scarier if we didn't crack jokes every couple of scenes. xD (behold the idiocy)

Scene: Peter falls off building
Mu: Points at his funny sprawled position and bursts into laughter-Chii and I laugh and soon half of the people in the room start chuckling along.
Scene: Detective gets ready to pour gasoline and light house on fire but hears choking/crying in the bathroom and leaves to explore
Mu: "No you idiot, don't go in there! You know there's a dead boy in the house! N-aww."
Scene: Karen watches while Kayako crawls (slowly )over her boyfriend, who looks at Karen with tears in his eyes
Me: "Wtf you don't just sit there when a crazy dead bitch is trying to eat your boyfriend's face! kick her! kick her!!"
Scene: Kayako's face first appears
All three of us: "IT'S CINDY!"
Let me say this now, I did not fully believe Drea when she said Kayako looked like Cindy. Well she was freaking right.O_-; (except Cindy's hawter cuz she walks upright, is not bloody and does not croak before killing people.. and she doesn't kill people period.)So the overall fear factor was lessened by our constant joke cracking and huddling..but I'm sure we would've been scared shitless if we'd watched it by ourselves. Quite a few heads turned when we actually shrieked at the point where Kayako's face was in the bus window's reflection- that was just unexpected hokay. :o The best/worst part was the ending when the detectives tell Karen that they managed to save the house. After she lost her boyfriend and half of her sanity trying to burn it down. So after the movie we met up with Jo and Cindy for dinner at Pat and Oscar's. The BBQ chicken pizza, salad and bread sticks were really good! I definitely need to get out more often. -.- Chii officially turns 16 tomorrow so wish her happy b-day hokay? xDD *runs from Chii*
It occurred to me when the detective was watching the video tape recording of Kayako walking towards the camera that it'd be fucking hilarious if they combined The Ring with The Grudge xD!
Side note: we didn't ruin the movie! everyone laughed every so often! it was just plain funny at times >.<
