I am ruling out the first one. Since the cast list of the movie isn't mutant heavy.

The third one is interesting and possible since in the cartoon, one of the astronauts is J. Jonah Jameson's son. And in the second movie, the is set to marry Mary Jane Watson. So that could be interesting.

But, with Topher Grace playing Eddie Brock, I think it is going to be option two.

Or, a combination of all three. Such as, an astroid from space brings the lifeform known as venom to Earth and Peter and Eddie show up to investigate it.

I am excited too.

i'm hoping they at least make it an alien. the story of it being just a bad science experiment is too lame.

bad science experiment? not really. explained rather well considering all the other crap that's come up in Ultimate Spidey.

Movie-verse, we really don't know who or what Jameson Jr. will be.

But please... someone shoot the people at marvel if the spidey movies ever progress to the clone saga.
