Rent rent rent rent Rent
the weekend before last, I said rent's due next weekend. They (specifically Dustin) said they know it.
Last weekend Kasey gives me the dough. Dustin said he doesn't get paid til' Tuesday.....What the fuck!? Nigga knew this was coming!
If you remember from my last post, when he got fired from Jersey Mike's, he said his mom would cover him for August. So, instead of getting money from his mom....he decides to just have us wait until Tuesday. Why the fuck did he pass the debt onto us? He could have borrowed money from his mom,....paid rent on time....then paid his mom back Tuesday! It's not like his mom is gonna evict us? Instead he just let it slide and told me this past Friday that he gets paid Tuesday. I hate people without common sense in money matters. I hate them so much!
Now it's not that I'm going to be charged late fees....(and even if I was He IS paying them) It's the principal of the thing: he could have paid rent on time, but due to a poor concept of finances and no sense of DUTY whatsoever....he has caused us to be late. Now, you know me. I'll be late to parties, weddings, burials, dinner, even work....but I handle that monetary busines! This reflects poorly on me. I don't like it one bit.
Furthermore....my roommates are still slobs. Nuff' said on that subject.
But there is good news! Kasey's sister gave us a free lawnmower. Now we won't get fined by the city. Yay for free lawnmowers! It's cheap and dinky, but free. That's all that matters.
