Updates
I tried to upload an audio file of me singing "Heaven is Not My Home" from church last Sunday. Apparently I can upload still pictures and video, but not audio. So if you would like a copy, please email me and I will send it to you. I'm pretty happy with the results, even though recordings of myself never sound like what I hear in my head.
On Merlin: We changed his food and took him to the vet. After running a full blood work, the vet says there's nothing wrong with him. These blood tests would not detect cancer, though, unless it was something like lymphoma that would make his white blood cell count go way up. Since we've changed his food, he seems to have more energy and more playfulness. He also has not soiled in the house for an entire week and is drinking more water since we have a bowl upstairs in the kitchen. (The water in the kitchen is for Kumo who does not yet climb or descend stairs except for the two steps to the back door.) So it looks like for the time being we have three dogs. They're mostly good together, and they do get us out walking on a daily basis.
