Three things that make me happy:

• The curtain is finished! Yay!
• My scales finally dropped another kilogram after not budging at all for two weeks.
• On Monday, Hubby and I'll take part in a Japanese tea ceremony in a Japanese tea house in Mannheim. And if time allows, we'll have some sushi afterwards.

Saturday morning, Hubby and I were in Heidelberg. We were lucky with the weather, it was a bit overcast but didn't rain, and later the sun came out and made for lovely, not too hot weather ( Read more... )

Yesterday evening the store called that our curtain fabric has arrived. That was fast. I'll pick it up after work, and will be busy over the weekend sewing the curtain. Moments like this make me happy that I have a sewing machine. When we bought it, it was a special offer and came only 29,99 Euro. Sewing the curtain myself saves me 78 Euros, so the ( Read more... )

So we have this huuuuge living room, where the bigger half is occupied by the billiard table and the smaller half serves as real living room with couch and TV and stereo and such.
