Xmas season is now

Today was a rather productive day - I made Xmas cookies. I'm not finished yet; I put in a break at 4 p.m. because Hubby and I went to Sinsheim to have a look at the Xmas market. It wasn't big, just a couple stands that we were finished looking at after fifteen minutes. We bought blinking Santa hats
, ate grilled sausages and went home again. Now we're looking forward to the Heidelberg and Mannheim Xmas markets, because they'll be much bigger.

When we returned home I didn't continue with the baking, I only did some cleaning. The baking of the last few cookies and the decoration of them can wait until tomorrow. My feet hurt already from standing in the kitchen all day.

While I was baking, Hubby put up the Xmas decorations in the apartment. Now it's looking all Xmassy here, very nice and I'm finally getting into the holiday mood.

When we were grocery shopping yesterday, pork meat was on sale, so Hubby bought some and made roast pork. We recently purchased a roasting thermometer, and Hubby tried it out, and it worked well, the roast became delicious.

We put it in the fridge, and had nibbles of it all day. Hmm, cold meat is sooo yummy!
