Back from the dead
It's been ages since the last post, so thought I would document a bit of what has been going on. First, I have officially begun job searching, as far as compiling a list of potential employers and fleshing out my resume. It seems a pHd is not on the table at the moment, at least until Amanda finishes her degree and we have a bit more financial backing to support the time investment it takes for that degree. And honestly, it has been getting pretty depressing never going out and trying to save every penny.
The good news is that I am open to employment just about anywhere, from Canada, USA, Europe...I am looking forward to traveling a bit. I have also started a new website at Bookspy.Net that is already getting a bit of traffic, after opening last week. I plan on spamming the heck out of the university when August comes around, and hopefully making a little extra to help us through the fall. I am actually pretty proud of the site, I am getting much better at putting these things together, and have really gotten a better understanding of PHP classes in the process. I am also about to start on another website that may generate a small income stream, but I am not ready to divulge it yet :)
Finally, I will be giving geocaching a shot soon, as a low cost source of entertainment. I already have the necessary equipment via our phone, so why not eh? There is actually a pretty active community here in Oxford.
Perhaps I will update this a bit more now? :P
