1) Get Oust. Or Febreeze. Or Raid.
2) Does this mean I have to make a NYC friend so that I can bum a bed off of them when I visit in Oct?
3) Go easy on the coffee. For now.

Shoot, yeah. I guess no crashing in your room if I make it alllll the way to NYC. But either way, I'm glad that you made it safely to college (!). I'm beyond jealous that you can see Central Park from your dorm. It sounds fantastic.

It hasn't quite sunken in yet that you're gone. Who else can I count on for random Bellevue Starbucks runs?! Be sure to email or call or leave me a random voice mail so I can pretend you're still around, okay?

I'm still willing to crash in your room :). I'll just kick your roommate out first. No biggie :{() <---- smiley making muscle arms.

You're near people you know. Plus email, phones. and you're in New York. Have fun, you'll do great and meet awesome people (there are some). Don't work too hard.

Throwing around a monkey? Well, it's a nice start, I suppose :) Hopefully they're good people; it's nice to know and hang out with people on your hall. (Or suite, as you sophisticated New Yorkers say!)
I've had a few spot-revelations too- walking around campus and seeing prospective kids look at me with a "wow, a real college student!" expression, cheering at sports games, things like that. It makes me feel somewhat motivated and somewhat startled.
Anyway, Barret, I hope you're having fun meeting people and learning the lay of the land!

Thanks guys! (the monkey's name was marshall, if you wanted to know.) yeah, it's getting a little bit better... and i think there IS room for somebody to stay over, if one ever desired to do such a thing. :) And for those who were thinking about visiting over Thanksgiving, Zack won't be here, so you can have his bed + floor + couch outside in the common room... So yeah. And today it's been getting better, and it makes sense now to be here. academically, it's going to be rough (b/c of lacking humanities stuff), so I've decided to read a book a week for the entire year. (I'll see if this will work once classes start...) So yeah. Going to bed so I can do yoga in the morning. YAY!
