So, while I was Christmas break, I was making a tasty chocolate dessert, and in the process I managed to get chocolate all over my favorite purple wool cable knit sweater.
The tag says dry clean only. So I took it to the dry cleaners. I put it on this morning and noticed that I can still see all the spots.
Upon closer inspection, I can't tell if there is still chocolate in the yarn, or if the the chemical they used to try and get the chocolate out permanently discolored the yarn. So, I think I should try and wash it again. I figure that if its the chocolate I have a chance of getting the stains out. Obviously, if the yarn is discolored, it's already ruined.
So, what's the best way to go about washing a wool sweater?
