so we made the
sourdough cinnamon rolls (that chris mentioned
here) and, well, the dough turned out great. the icing was fine and the filling was awesome, except, well... all the filling leaked out while they baked! they were sitting in a big puddle of it, which was burning to the pan, and you could hardly taste it in the finished product. so disappointing. chris will leave a comment to the site, asking if anyone's experienced this and what to do about it. meanwhile, I made another 1/2 batch of the filling to use as a dipping sauce for the rolls. mmmmm..
also, I was going over my sister's registry (she is getting married in august) and was drooling over
this cake pan. so my mom decided to get it for me for my birthday! it comes with a recipe for raspberry truffles (apparently it is a cake AND candy pan) which I of course had to try. so. good. I think I will try a million more batches in different flavors.
