Being inspired is one of the greatest things.
There is this amazing pianist named Trevor Olfert (he's Paul's cousin). I went to his concert the other evening. He plays the piano incredibly, and he also composes music for many other instruments. He had an entire orchestra playing with him! Afterwards, I felt inspired. I got in the car and all I wanted to do was sing and pray and laugh and just enjoy being in the presence of God. Trevor has an amazing gift, if after a concert where he's playing the piano incredibly, can still put all of the focus on God. He has an amazing gift, if after his concert, people leave wanting to worship God. And that's exactly how I felt.
I'm reading a book called "Ultra Marathon Man", and that inspires me too. So, tonight, at 10:30 p.m., I went for a run. I ran until almost 11:30, and it was great. And to me, that is also worship. I think God loves it when we exert ourselves beyond what is comfortable; when we push ourselves in a mental and physical way. I think God loves it when we worship Him by doing things we love.
I love what God has given us, here and now. I love it that we have Heaven to look forward too, but even so, I love it that God gives us these incredible moments here on earth, that are a taste of what Heaven will be like.
