Traditional Overview of the Year

Dec 30, 2007 18:37

So seeing as I'll probably be INSANELY busy tomorrow, rather just having to wrestle with the normal anticipation before the festivities start, I'm just put in my two bits now.

So there has been SO MUCH change this year, so I find it appropriate to make change the theme for this year. I can vaguely remember that the year before last that was wanted I. Though it was achieved a little later than expected, I guess in the end it all worked out.

I have been able to stick up for myself more than I have in the past, I have learned to read people better, I have learned to not let my emotions get the better of me, I have learned not to get too attached to anything, I don't feel so sorry for myself anymore, I don't blame myself for every bad thing in the world, I got a cell phone!!! (ha that one is trivial, but a change all the same), I got my first job, and my first second job, I've become more tolerable with some things, and less with others, I've actually drank a couple times without feeling too nervous and was able to unwind; dare i say, have some fun whilst doing so!, I'm way more involved at school, I survived my first heavy work load..(probably the first of at least 2 more semesters...ugh) and I think one of the most important changes is that I have become closer with my family. There's still a lot more room for improvement, but there always is.

To sum up the year, I wouldn't say it was the best of my life, but the most progressive at the very least. After all, it is all about change right?

I hope that anyone reading this will have/ or had a safe and fun New Years Eve. I'm glad that you've found my blog interesting enough to read this far into my thoughts and life.

Well I think I'm going to get started on some laundry so that I can just chill after tomorrow night and relax before I got to Florida with Cali. I'm sure I'll need some recovery time.

Later Cats
