So I'm in Concord, MA. The place has a very weird energy -- hmm, how can I say this -- WASP, post transcendentalism feel to it. Okay, so we began our quest for freedom here (to no avail) and some famous people wrote about a famous pond here. And there were some Little Women around.

It's been an active involvement for myself to come here and realize that I'm donating about $350 worth of my time (lost jobs, travel, higher cost of food). It's a good challenge, and I had a quite wonderful thing happen to me yesterday. Outside the library, the first black / non-white people I've seen for days come by to set up for a show. Then all the wasps start coming with their blond-hair, blue-eyed children sitting around. An older lady pours vodka into her lemonade from one of the largest flasks I have seen. The band does one song as a soundcheck, and everyone claps thinking that the they were performing. Well they weren't because then they did the "recorded music over PA" thing. And do you know what song came on? -- "In the Ghetto" No one flinched, and I started laughing hysterically because these people clearly have no idea what they're listening to other than "summer music." Not to my surprise, no one looked at me or noticed my laughing. I must radiate New York liberal / heretic... at least that's the notion I got from the Constitution Party man lobbying for less taxes. "This is NOT the way our country was designed to run!"

hmm. yeah.

The other day I decided to contact a select list of ex-lovers. That was really interesting and actually nice.

I'm going back to Chicago on the 11-18th. I expect nothing; therefore, I'm sure to have some great times.

That's all folks.

OOH! My car was just sold for a lump of money, meaning I'll probably be traveling in October with my mom's car. So Laura, I may take you up on your offer, and others, get ready. I miss whiskey drinking and shenanigans. I also may go to L.A. to travel the Badlands with a good friend and visit other friends -- surprisingly there are a lot of people I know over there.

Now, that's really all folks.
