Improvement

So, I'm getting better at tennis everytime I play. The other day my serve was way off; I couldn't land one of them. But today my serve was actually decent; I nailed a good number of them, but not as many as I'd like (that being ALL of them). My volley is getting better as well. I bought a new tennis racquet (also racket) to get me on the courts again this year, but I'd like a new one because I think my game could improve if I had something a little nicer than a $20.00 Dunham's special, hah. I'm looking at this one, but I don't know if I want to spend the cash on it:

I'm also playing basketball, but I don't seem to be getting any better. Ryan says I have a Chucky Atkins shot because I put no spin on the ball. I bought these new basketball shoes because I thought I would rock with them, but yet I still suck:

Gol, I don't know what else to write about, but I'm cracking up because my sister is such a dork. She's killing me over here. Hahahahahaha. But yeah, this is Shane signing out, kids.

But wait! This journal entry is missing the standard obligatory message directed at an unnamed person or persons. Sorry Leah, I liked your profile quote so much I had to steal it :-P.

To live is to be faced with many possibilities. But the greatest gift we have is the ability to choose.

Dexter Holland of The Offspring made a good point:

"Life, what a messed up thing we do. What a nightmare come true. Or a playground if we choose... and I choose." - I Choose, The Offspring
