So my laptop decided to take a crap Tuesday while I was at work. I came home and opened the lid and... BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. I thought, "Oh shit..." because I think (believe it or not) it's only done it once before. I rebooted... "operating system not found" GREAT. I took it to get looked at by the Geeks at Best Buy, they basically told me I had "the death tick" and my HDD was fucked. I could have replaced it for pretty cheap, but the poor ol' Inspiron was 6 years old, tired, and the screen was about to fall off due to both screen hinges being cracked. So I said fuckit and bought a new 17" HP laptop. I hummed and hawed about how much money to spend, but then I bought it Thursday night and picked it up Friday after work. Got me some of that 6 month same as cash action, so I'm going to be working lots of overtime for the next couple months to pay for it interest free. So far the hardest thing getting used to is where the delete and arrow keys are, because it's got a 10-key on it, so the keyboard itself is shifted over from center. The part that blows about the whole situation - I lost all my photos, music, email, bla bla bla. The Geek said I might be able to get the HDD realigned somewhere but it's pretty costly. Most of the music I had on the computer is also on my nano - I'm hoping there's a way to do some sort of reverse update from nano to itunes.
I planned on spending a few hours at work today, but then slept in instead, so just went in for an hour then headed to the gym right after. I found some
Atro-Phex in a duffel bag that I used on a not-so-recent trip. I took a couple and holy crap! I forgot how powerful they are! I did a half hour of cardio and then I think another hour or so of weight training. I could have kept going but I figured an hour and half of exercise was enough for one day. Today's regimen:

Oddly enough I'm starting to get compliments from other gym attendees that regularly see me naked... they're saying that my efforts are becoming really noticeable. I have had two or three guys say something this week about it. It's a great feeling to hear that - I just wish I could see it as much as others do. Motivation to keep it up I guess!
