Sleek, black, dark, and clever: benzoin, honey, cedar, and dark musk.

In the bottle: cedar and honey. It's dark, yes, but with a sharp edge to it.

Wet on skin: it's softer, a bit cuddlier, but still dark and...I'm not sure, almost comforting> The topmost notes are still cedar and honey, and there is an almost foody benzoin coming up at this phase ( Read more... )

In decant: jasmine, moss, orange, and benzoin. This is a predominantly orange/jasmine scent, a pretty light orange color impression.

White rose buds, with vanilla tea, benzoin, orris, coconut meat, and frankincense.

In bottle: oh beautiful rosy vanilla. There is a high rose note at the end as well, pure and white. A slight sweet coconut meat note too, if I think about it.

A soft, resinous indigo musk with black currant, ylang ylang, Tunisian jasmine, opoponax, rose otto, benzoin, Tahitian vanilla bean, and opium tar.

In tester: dark and boozy, with the black currant and resins front and center.
