(no subject)
Only about 10 days till Uni now! Starting to ger a bit weird now, been saying goodbye to some people and stuff. Had my last day at work on Saturday, which was a bit strange since I've been working there for over three years! It was really sweet though, cos John (my boss) had got everyone to sign a card for me, and gave me a £20 book voucher to use to buy my books (although it's a little late as I already have them all! But still will be useful!) Went to hand my keys in today, so I've left properly now! Also had the last Sunday at church at the weekend because we're away next weekend, so I said goodbye to lots of people which again was strange - my friends and my parents friends who I've known pretty much all my life, old youth leaders and people. Although it's an odd kind of saying goodbye because I'll be coming back regularly!
Catherine went up to Edinburgh at the weekend so I had to say goodbye to her too! Feels like she only just got back from South Africa and she's gone again! But we are going up to visit at the beginning of November which is good :D
Mum's gone away for a few days on a work conference, so I'm being mother again and have to make dinner and take Cate to school and stuff! Could have a problem with that tomorrow as I need to ring up for Strictly Come Dancing tickets at 8, but it's 8:15ish she has to leave for school! Eeek. May have to try and persuade her to walk to school, I think!
I'm really upset that I only have one dancing lesson left though! So sad, I'm really gonna miss the class, and miss dancing with Andrew! I've never had someone who makes me laugh so much, I'm in stitches every week. Last night was a good lesson, there were only three couples there instead of the usual 8 or 9 so we got extra attention - learned new steps in Cha Cha, Rumba and Waltz, and we did Jiiiiive! It was so much fun, although my feet are still aching today! And I've done something to my leg too, think I've pulled a muscle or something! Haha. But yes, only one lesson left! I'm really looking forward to starting new ones at Uni and hopefully learning more stuff than we do here, but I will miss everyone!
Going to see Darren and Lilia dancing again on Friday! :D I cannot wait, I don't think you can ever watch them dance too many times! Loooooooooads of people from the forum are going to be there too so I'll get to meet everyone which should be fun.
Finally, I wish Strictly Come Dancing would hurry up and announce the couples for the new series! *scowl*
