So it's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day in like, almost a week. On the 1st of July. Just thought I'd put that out there for my older family members 'cause I know that your memories aren't what they were, y'know. Remember to check the taps are turned off and that you have your keys before you leave the house.

Yeah, I'm trying, but it won't let go.

And I don't want to hurt it, y'know.

[ they're climbin' in yo windows, snatchin' yo nations up ]

I got a tank of them back from the Post Office.

I don't mind at all. What's your address?

Wow! You're so lucky. I sure wish the Post Office would send me a whole tank …

Well like, actually I traded something I didn't want for them. Thought it'd be nice to have something to do with the ocean around, y'know.

I'm at 767 Bunker Street.

[sellchelles]

You can do that? Maybe I can ask 'em to give me back my beaches.

Okay! I'll be right there.

Yeah you can.

[ is about to say that he's doubtful that you can regain a beach, but you never know. so he leaves it. ]

I was told to stay away from the Post Office.

[ she'll find a way. somehow. maybe. never. ]

In the meantime, let's worry about gettin' that starfish off you.

[ there's a click and, after a fair amount of time passes, she's ringing Hong Kong's doorbell ]

[ it doesn't take him long to open the door. ]

Hey.

[ he lifts the arm with the starfish stuck to it to show her. also just in case the starfish wants to say hi too, you never know. ] Come in. [ stands to one side to let her do so. ]

Bonzour. [ she appears to be waving at both Hong Kong and the starfish ] He sure looks cozy there, doesn't he?

Yeah. I guess. [ stares down at his arm. ]

I don't wanna disturb him but I don't think staying there forever would be very convenient, y'know. Plus he needs water.

[sellchelles]

[ she steps inside and taps her chin thoughtfully as she analyzes the starfish on Hong Kong's arm ]

I would imagine not unless you plan to live in a bathtub forever.

Yeah. [ shuts the front door once she's inside. ]

I could hold my arm in the tank for a bit and see if he feels like letting go now, maybe he misses the water enough. And you could maybe tug him a bit while I do that.

That might work.

Besides, he's gonna be hungry eventually.

That's true. [ beckoning for her to follow him while he leads the way into the living room and over to the tank. it's basically a scaled down version of one of those more interactive ones you see at aquariums, full of more starfish, a few sea urchins and some small fish. ]

...I kind of miss the ocean a bit. [ make that a lot ] So that's why I got this. Maybe it wasn't like, the best idea though.
