Wednesday - Jan 9. Got the car back with clutch fixed, took off for Ohio around 1pm. Took about 9 hours to get to E's mom's house. Was surprised to find a small dog - terrier mutt mix named Molly. Very sweet dog. Got settled, met E's step-dad-to-be. Went to bed.

Thursday - Jan 10. Got up, E and I went exploring his old haunts a bit. Went out with his mom to find a dress for me for the wedding. Tried on at least 8 dresses. Of course I liked the one that couldn't fit me, because I actually have a bust now and it wouldn't zip up. Let his mom choose the dress - it was after all her party. Got a bit pissed at her, because she eluded to me being fat and made some comments that I wasn't very happy with. Rushed out to go the rehearsal/dinner. Was raining and cold. Got to the place where the wedding would be to find no one from the place there and it all locked up. Family and minister improvised outside and then went to dinner. I really like the step-family - two sisters, one married with three great little boys and an awesome husband that doesn't appear to know how to be judgmental. Ate a lot, chatted, had fun, went back to the house, fell asleep.

Friday - Jan 11. E's dad took us out to lunch, along with David, E's little brother. Went for sushi, had a great time. Went out to find shoes for the wedding. Found super awesome red patent leather heals. Totally awesome, but not right for the wedding, went to DSW, got regular brown shoes to go with the brown dress. Had problems with my debit card, went back to the house, called Wachovia, got that settled. Hung out with Jackie (E's little sister), her boyfriend (Matt), David, and his girlfriend (Becca). Met Becca's sugarglider. Went to see Sweenie Todd. Took Matt to his house to get things for him for the wedding and to spend the night. Met his ferrets and fondled the ferrets. Went back to the house, went to bed.

Saturday - Jan 12 - D-day/E's mom's wedding - Went out for bagels with E's dad, siblings, and SO's. Went back to the house, watched people be nutty about getting ready for the wedding, took Matt with us to the wedding place. Spent the next 3 hours waiting around, talking with Matt and Becca, played with the three kids. Pinned roses to E and David. Sat down for the wedding. Sat through the wedding. Went to reception. Got a long island ice tea that tasted like hell, but did the job. Followed that with two tequila sunrises, then something that Fred, E's new step-brother-in-law, got for me. Then a rum and coke. Was happily near stumblingly drunk. Sat with Fred's baby and fed him a bottle while everyone else cleaned up. Went to E's dad's house. Whoa - pretty house. Went to bed.

Sunday - Jan 13th - BEST DAY. Got up, got dressed, had bagel and coffee. Went to see Wicked - E's dad got us front row seats. OMG was that a totally awesome play. Elpheba's voice was amazing. Very, very, very awesome. Cannot even begin to describe how much I enjoyed it. Went to Nicholson's pub afterward and watched E and his dad enjoy different samples of scotch, tasted a few myself. Had spinach/artichoke dip, haddock dip, and lots of water. Went back to E's dad's house, hung around, watched Flushed Away, were introduced to Big Bang Theory - a tv show about geeks on Monday nights at 8:30. Had dinner, chatted with Sarah, E's step-mom and Jackie. Played Rock Band with David, Sarah, and E. Howled through a couple of songs on easy. E's dad sat through it all, happy to be with us, though I probably would have ran away with how silly and bad we were. Went to bed.

Monday - Jan 14. Came home. Started feeling sick about 4 hours into the ride home. Got sick 1 hour away from home. Got home, loved kitties, got sick again, watched Pitch Black, had awesome sex, went to bed.

I think I have a stomach bug, because I'm still not feeling good. Still have the kidney stone as far as I know, because I haven't seen it and I haven't had any pain to tell me that I passed it. Just really glad to be home. Don't want to travel for a long while. I really hate traveling.

wicked., evil, sick, travel, weddings, play, awesome
