Hee~! Week-in-review - I like it! Those clouds are quite a sight! And romance novels are no end of amusing...if one can find the time to spend on them. I'm currently hooked on the paranormal romance The Black Dagger Brotherhood and as they are the first and only romance I've been able to read without laughing myself into herniation....I suppose I could recommend them...although I would feel silly doing so. Still, fun to be had.

Hey, fun to be had is exactly the reason I read, so I'll add that to the list of books to look for. ;)

The clouds were very striking to see. I wish that my camera had picked up the color better. Everything looks a little washed out. :(

I get a voice-over from Ricardo Montalban, while in the background that little fellow is shouting, "De plane, boss, de plane!" hee...

~falls over laughing~ Oh, that would have been brilliant. Too bad the author of that book took it all so very seriously. ;)

Changing your hair style and/or color is always a great re-charger. Do you have pics?

No, but I'll take some. I'll stand in front of the bathroom mirror! After I clean up the bathroom

do follicles migrate?)

I think so, yes. It would certainly explain the very tough, curly hairs that I occasionally find on my chin now. ~snerk~

Oh, if we'd had those clouds in spring, we'd have been looking for the tornado. ~grin~

It is a lot of grass to mow. My dad has a riding lawnmower, though, and he seems to enjoy mowing. I think it's his time to himself. ;)

Ah, I don't think anyone is ever ready for Christmas. No matter when you have it, there's always going to be something that's been missed or isn't ready or was forgotten. ~nods~ At least, it's that way at our house.

Oh, yes, it was very nice to be pampered. Although, the ripping hair out by the roots part was not as much fun as the rest. LOL

Heh. The early to mid 80's is probably the last time I read anything like a Harlequin romance too. Same reason. Those books are the reason why I HATE the dark haired, asshole, wife beating, alpha male character type too.

Oh, geez, I know! This guy was blond, but that was the only difference. ~nods~

Damn hon, you're out in the country! It's supposed to get cold here this weekend. It's been in the 70's for almost 2 weeks and i've not been outside in 2 days due to acf (after concert flu)

As for the bad romance novel... who wrote it? Sometimes authors get this string of 'hits' and I don't think editors even read them after a while as the name of the author alone will get the thing sold.

Please tell me it wasn't Jude Devereaux... I always had a soft spot for her....

Hee! I am out in the boonies, that's for sure. It's been pretty weather here until the last week. Then it turned cold and rainy. Of course, I shouldn't complain. We haven't had it nearly as bad as the people farther north.

It was written by Katherine O'Neal. I'd never read anything by her before, and I won't read anything else written by her. Her other stuff may be much better, but I've been burned now and won't trust her again. ;)
