I got a JOB INTERVIEW!!
*cheer*! I just got a call from the HR manager at my local Bed, Bath & Beyond! She read the cover letter, resume and job application I dropped off last week and wanted to ask me some additional questions about the documents, and about myself.
I passed that stage of things, because then she said she'd like me to come in for an interview! *gleeful skip* I know, I know, LOTS of people get interviewed, and less than half actually get chosen for a job, so I'm trying to "expect the best, but prepare for the worst." However, I can't help but get excited, because at all the other places I applied, I never even got to the phone interview stage, let alone an in-person interview!! :D :)
Those other places are SummerWinds Nursery, Barnes & Noble, Diddams Party Store, Petco and Cost Plus World Market. All stores I really like and would really like working at! Anyhoo, the interview is tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time). If anyone feels so inclined, I'd be grateful for any good thoughts you can send my way. *blush* Thanks!! :)
