Somen noodles are thin, Japanese noodles, usually served chilled with a dipping sauce. It's a nice, refreshing light meal on a hot, muggy day -- plus, it's quick and easy to make. :)

Uttered in a dead-serious tone by my soon to be six-year-old daughter who loves Lady Gaga:

"Why is it Lady Gaga BAD Romance? Shouldn't it be GOOD Romance?"

Some days, I wonder why the heck am I doing all this? 
Some days, life feels like a strange cosmic joke, that only God (or insert name of your favorite deity) gets.
Some days, I feel like I've accidentally stepped into a bad movie - or someone else's life.
Some days, nothing makes sense.
