I have indeed engaged in some social interaction of late,* but largely I have spent my time obsessing dangerously over Torchwood and Gareth David-Lloyd. Ok, I know I'm spamming, but I think you should all know that I was just looking at the ravelry stash gallery for Malabrigo sock yarn, and I actually moaned aloud.
