Forty minutes and counting...

...until I can leave work and pick up the new car. I'm in a rental right now while the new car is getting its moonroof installed. (What's the difference between a sunroof and a moonroof, I ask you?) It's gorgeous outside and I just want to bolt right this minute.

In the meanwhile, last night I parked Fezzig where the insurance company could find her, cleaned her out for the last time and said goodbye. She was the first car I ever bought, new or used. She served me well on road trips to Portland, Lincoln City, San Francisco, Spokane, Yakima, Ocean Shores, Vancouver and the peninsula. She got me to work and back reliably every single day. She kept me safe whenever I was rear-ended on the 520 bridge (3 times!) and bore barely a scratch. She made me look waaaay cool. And she was a fabulous shade of red. Farewell, my little coupe!
