The exciting life of a single girl (plus GIP)
It's Saturday night. I'm home. I have a slight headache. The cats are nowhere to be seen.
Attended last night's Clarion West party. Was delighted to find jaylake, among others, in attendance. Sang with a few people (American Pie, some Neil Young, and so on); jackwilliambell brought his guitar, so I picked at it a little and was then informed that I had to practice on my own damn instrument this week so that at next week's event I could play a little more. I shall endeavor same. We'll see.
Today I worked a bit, then gamed a bit with irrationalrobot and oldmangrumpus at the new game store on Queen Anne hill.
Room switcheroo: I've cleaned the desk out and washed its surfaces. I was all set to photograph it for the eventual giving away when I realized that the new battery needed charging. No photography tonight. Tomorrow, however? Yeah.
In the meanwhile, I've a writing date tomorrow with EB, and then movie plans with the usual suspects.
Also? Please consider this post a GIP. I've been grabbing new Doctor Who icons (Who's been a rather unhealthy obsession the last few days) and want to show off some of what I've picked up. ([Fan girl moment]: Ain't he pretty?[/end fan-girl moment])
