Treats in the mail
Some writing done this afternoon, interspersed with reading and snoozing. The mail brought two treats: Trial of Flowers by one jaylake of our acquaintancewhat a gorgeous treatment Nightshade gave this book; looking forward to reading itand The Standard Catalogue of Hard Times Tokens 1832-1844 by Russell Rulau, 2001 edition, said edition being the most recent. I am surely the only person in my social circle interested in this volume.

This evening, I'll be attending a reception at the Museum of History and Industry with oldmangrumpus, which should be pleasant. MOHAI's a cool museum and doesn't get nearly enough press given its coverage of Seattle history; it's really quite good and well worth a visit.
