Hey Ma! We're in the Papers!
EB, varina8, and I spent a perfectly lovely Saturday in Burien checking out the downtown area. We popped into Howard & Marge where I got a beautiful red sweater of exactly the sort I've been looking for, Fireweed Beads, a couple of bookstores, and 909 Restaurant for a delicious lunch. At Bumbershoot Books, we ran into a local reporter covering Small Business Saturday, who interviewed and photographed us and--voila!--EB and I are featured in his brief coverage in The Highline Times. I'm entertained by the memory of the encounter and by the coverage but, wow, what a schnozz I have in the picture!
