Vincent had kept the potion as long as he could barely, the sleeping draught was kept in the box under his floorboard, when Friday evening came, he waited aslong as he could before pouring the vial's contents into his uncles tea.
It was miraculous how much effect ir already had and then left the house, to catch the knight bus and to meet Scarlette at the Leaky Cauldron.
All day Friday, Scarlette had been on pins and needles, worried that something would go wrong, that Vincent would get caught or simply change his mind and decide that he didn't want to meet her. As she sat alone at a table in the Leaky Cauldron, doubts and worries soared through her mind.
They all disappeared when she saw Vincent walk in through the front door. She stood and went to meet him, throwing her arms around his neck. It had been less than a week since they'd last seen each other, but it had felt much longer to Scarlette.
"I've missed you," she whispered as she hugged Vincent tightly.
To hear him say that was like heaven to Scarlette's ears. Her smile was ear-to-ear as she pulled back and took his hand, leading him out of the Leaky Cauldron.
"I know where a port key is real close that will take us close to where I live," she explained, starting down the street. Thankfully, the girl had it all worked out in her head. "It's about ten minutes to get to the portkey from here and after that, it's about twenty to get to my mum's house."
Vincent sensed the hunger stirring, as she pressed harder, the sound of their bodies, of their lips, caused Vincent's mind into a daze, pressing his lips harder.
Vincent pulled away after what felt like hours, and then kissed her fingers delicately, then her neck, both soft light touches as the pressure began to build in his trousers.
Scarlette's breathing was growing heavy as Vincent's lips caressed her skin. Grasping the front of his shirt, she pulled him over towards the bed and as she fell back onto it, Scarlette pulled him down on top of her.
Her lips caught his again as her arms snaked around his shoulders. She held him close to her, the nervousness that had been frying her brain only minutes before now shoved away by something stronger.
Vincent forced himself to keep his lust at bay, but it wasn't working, she wanted this as much as he did, and he saw that her nerves were gone: just as his control was. He kissed her hard, his body on top of hers, his lips trailed her body, grasping her shirt and pulling it away, kissing the new bare skin, a groan of pleasure coming from his lips, as the pressure between his own legs intensified.
She shivered slightly as her shirt was pulled over her head, though it wasn't because she was cold. Scarlette's hands found his shirt and soon enough, their bare chests were pressed up against one anothers'.
There had been a thought lingering in her mind for a while now, one that she found too embarrassing to bring up. But Scarlette knew that now would be the best time to tell. And hopefully, it would make a difference for her.
