cotillion was super fun....lets highlight, shall we?

*john looking so adorable in a tux
*the smiles frozen to our faces during pictures...ugh
*the limo ride where the lights were just so fun
*seeing everyone all dressed up and with dates
*the hularious cover band
*erin and jesse and the fact they should get married...NOW! aw i hope theyre like in love or something
*dancing the night away but not very well in my heels
*seeing jeff...how i love jeff. sigh. and realizing everyone i date dances hulariously (jesse, jeff, and john. all there. looking hularious. oh god i love them all)
*watching erin and jesse dance because theyre both sooo weird
*jesse and andrew...bon jovi...HA!
*seeing joe. hes so cute
*seeing rachel. shes so cool
*dancing with the girls to i will survive and just generally being weird
*seeing all these stupid drunk kids grinding in formalwear and laughing because they look all classy...yet so trashy
*not having to deal so much with the people i didnt like, and not caring anyway just cuz it was so great
*giving up on johns crazy dancing and joining in and having people who dont know us laugh at us and all are friends...look exactly the same
*sandra/alex and kristen/james cuteness
*savoring lets get it on because it was the only good song played!
*savoring every single bad song two..until they were played twice
*going to sandras afterwards and having everyone we didnt want not stay

*changing outta my formalwear into pjs...mmmm
*laughing because they all went and smoked gross cheap cigars, then regretted it
*seeing andrew and his exchange student lena hook up...one of his first kisses..it was cute, except ALL NIGHT
*hearing jesse sing cuz hes sooo weird!
*seeing jesse actually get along with jon. it was good. we all got along, except when grouchy people wanted sleep hehehe
*actually talking with jesse about how we went out...4 years ago. Only not seriously. i tried to convince him we only spoke japanese the entire time. I dont remember why. we were both sober. just weird.

*the 150 dollars worth of food we had! that was soo goood
*waking up next to john. kissing him throughout the night. but nothing more cuz we dont need that when other people are around and in other peoples houses. and just...liking it.
*seeing that michelle and jon hit it off nicely, but not too nicely on either end.

*just in general, laughing my ass off until 8 am.
*us, many told by others that we are "pothead hippies" all admitting that it was so great that we were totally sober all night. I dont know why that was great, i think it just made it...real.
So it was all and all a great time. I was annoyed for like a 3 minute conversation, just because my friends seem to think im a victum of leftist propaganda because i read part of one book, and my point was just that killing calves really isnt much worse than killing cows. I mean, it is in the sense that they dont keep cows in boxes, but they wouldnt believe any of the meat things i know just because they dont want them to be true. so they countered things with things that arent counterarguments because i know they are true too. See the thing is i dont care if people eat meat. its their choice. i have my morals, they have theirs. so why argue? I was more trying to understand the difference between really cruel for a short period of time or pretty cruel for a long period of time. It doesnt really matter, the only comments that annoyed me were "Not all leftist books are true" because..uh, yeah ya think? ive read PART of ONE. And its extremely well researched. And i think that the leftist part is irrellevant because not all of anything is true. The second "Thats leftist propaganda"...well in the sense that someone is sharing knowlege to spread it to others, yes. i dont think its trying to really convince anything. my dad read it he still eats meat all the time. And if you want to say thats propaganda you have to say any factual researched-based biased book is propaganda. So ok fine, if you argue that, than whats the point of your comment you dumbass? so every book in the entire world is propaganda basically, and the one fact i pulled out from it is brainwashing me? its just obvious that my friends (in general, not just this case) dont want to see things that could change their comfort, so they follow middle/right propaganda in order to keep their comfort level. see, its all the same. we all just follow our own paths. deal with it.
hehe that was a really long rant considering i dont really care anymore. i kinda just wish some of my friends from this group were a bit more socially conscious, or at least willing to listen to different things. not nessicarily vegitarianism, my most socially active friend eats meat (she isnt in our "group", though). Just that. and the fact that the person who said the second comment (jon) kinda annoys me anyway. It wasnt a big deal. 3 minutes. just closemindedness annoys me.
it was also funny to see how annoyed EVERYONE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD is with amanda. heh heh, her livejournal. see people here dont read mine to my knowlege so i can say whatever i want. anyway, she wrote bad things in her livejournal. we all are annoyed. shes annoying anyway. yeah. hehehehhe.
so that was definitely the highlight of...this year so far. it was so fun. i hope i go to prom (not with jon though...he said hed take me but now we kinda get to eachother). Hmm..jesse would be fun but i want him to take erin if they want that is hehe. ummm someone? maybe i could get tyler to go and take me. hes fun. i wish he came but he would have been uncomfortable with the whole dance thing and formalness. hes fun though. ill miss john though. maybe he could get someone to take him. or he could come to the afterparty. or something. i just wanna go cuz ALLLL my friends are seniors or dating seniors. pretty much. except john. so it would be fun. thats may/june though so we'll see.
