I'm on a watching stump (if that's what you call it). I've been trying to watch a new drama or movie but I just can't pick one I'd like to continue watching. As a result, I watched Orange Days again, because you know, Tsumabuki Satoshi announced last week that he's getting married to Maiko. And I wasn't ready! My shipping heart was still hoping he'

I haven't seen Lunch Queen but it's on my 'to watch' list since I like Yuko Takeuchi a lot. I just haven't made much progress with my "in progress" dramas to start that yet. Date is still not finished lol. And I broke my self control rule and started two dramas that I didn't finish watching either. So now the list is longer. Right now, I have mostly been watching current summer dramas.
Anyway, I'm surprised your slumps last so long. What do you do to get out of them?

Takeuchi Yuko's really good in Lunch Queen! I also haven't watched Date SP. I'm still not sure I will watch. i've seen your post regarding current summer dramas. I'm just waiting for them all to finish and get subbed. XD
ah. that's me. it's the same with reading, it takes a lot of trial and error until I find something I really want to watch or read til the end. but I'm starting a new one now, Nobunaga no Chef. I just hope I'll be able to finish it. XD

The spring dramas were better than these summer ones. But you should take a look at Ie Uru Onna and HOPE when they are completed.

is that so? too bad. those 2 are on my watch list because Chiba Yudai and Yuto. haha XDD are those the good ones this season? thank you for the recommendations!

And yep those two are the ones I look forward to the most. Ie Uru Onna is funny. HOPE has more emotional appeal. But neither is better than Juhan Shuttai nor 99.9. I don't know if there are better ones that I'm not watching but the descriptions of most of the others didn't appeal to me. I would like to see Kami no Shita wo Motsu Otoko but no one is subbing it presently. I probably would check out Aogeba Totoshi when it's finished.

ugh, if only I've been diligently studying Japanese, I might be able to translate and eventually sub. there are lots of dramas out there that has good stories but due to lack of interest, they don't get subbed. >_< I also haven't heard about Aogeba Totoshi. XD I should really get my shit together and check out all this season's dramas. XD
I'm also planning to watch ON and Lost ID and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, because Johnnys (I'm kind of ashamed [but not really] that I pick dramas/movies because they have actors/idols I like in them XD).

that's true! aw. you just finished uni? I never thought you'd be so young! maybe one of these days, I'd be getting subs from you. haha
I guess all those Lost ID "reviews" I've been seeing are only meant for Kei's appearances. XD because they're raving about it. I mean how cute and suspicious his character, Kusaka, is. XD ah, Liar Game, it's been a while. it's good! all the seasons and the movie. I haven't watched the latest one though, the one with Ashida Mana. because what is Liar Game without Erika?

Anyway, I'm almost 25 so I won't say I'm that young lol. Hopefully, I can sub someday. Mightn't be soon. I studied some basic japanese grammar yesterday and well it was slightly overwhelming. You really have to do a little at a time.
I don't know about those reviews. Some people are perhaps genuinely enjoying it. I would admit that I'm being overly critical but it's just because of my expectations. I'll probably rant about it when I write my thoughts on the other summer dramas I started. So you could look out for that then lol.

almost 25! that's still young (compared to me). and yes, it's quite overwhelming when you study a lot of Japanese in a day, then you also have to retain everything. D:
will look forward to that! anyway, thank you for recommending tenno no ryoriban. I'm on episode 3 now and I think I'll be able to finish it (finally!). :D
