I'm on a watching stump (if that's what you call it). I've been trying to watch a new drama or movie but I just can't pick one I'd like to continue watching. As a result, I watched Orange Days again, because you know, Tsumabuki Satoshi announced last week that he's getting married to Maiko. And I wasn't ready! My shipping heart was still hoping he'

I wish I could be diligent in my Japanese study too. And it's sad in my case because I actually have the time cuz I'm in that limbo stage of recently finishing uni but not yet employed. I'm just so lazy haha. Subbing would be such good listening practice if only I could understand the other 95% of what they say XD
I've been watching those three dramas as well. ON is good and a little darker than usual. But it's missing something to make it an addictive show. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is cute but not without issues. Lost ID is a disappointment for me. It's not that it's all bad. It's just that I really expected so much more from the plot. I thought I was in for a super awesome suspense show that would have me captivated and keep surprising me. But it's not that. It actually made me suspense deprived so I have been itching to watch thriller dramas. I had been putting off Liar Game so I will probably start that sometime soon to get my fix. XD

that's true! aw. you just finished uni? I never thought you'd be so young! maybe one of these days, I'd be getting subs from you. haha
I guess all those Lost ID "reviews" I've been seeing are only meant for Kei's appearances. XD because they're raving about it. I mean how cute and suspicious his character, Kusaka, is. XD ah, Liar Game, it's been a while. it's good! all the seasons and the movie. I haven't watched the latest one though, the one with Ashida Mana. because what is Liar Game without Erika?

Anyway, I'm almost 25 so I won't say I'm that young lol. Hopefully, I can sub someday. Mightn't be soon. I studied some basic japanese grammar yesterday and well it was slightly overwhelming. You really have to do a little at a time.
I don't know about those reviews. Some people are perhaps genuinely enjoying it. I would admit that I'm being overly critical but it's just because of my expectations. I'll probably rant about it when I write my thoughts on the other summer dramas I started. So you could look out for that then lol.

almost 25! that's still young (compared to me). and yes, it's quite overwhelming when you study a lot of Japanese in a day, then you also have to retain everything. D:
will look forward to that! anyway, thank you for recommending tenno no ryoriban. I'm on episode 3 now and I think I'll be able to finish it (finally!). :D
