Oh god yes Laurie must have been an endless source of Rorschach trauma. Saying 'President Eisenhower' and 'vagina' in the same sentence IS JUST DOWNRIGHT UNPATRIOTIC.

This whole story cracked me up, but the last line killed me dead.

Appearently after I was told the facts of life around 4 or so, I spent a few weeks once in a while loudly asking my mother if a random nearby man really had a penis, because I had trouble wrapping my head around the concept.

As a kid, I recall being slightly disgusted that normal, respectable adults were actually smuggling ridiculous-looking genitals in their pants. It just didn't seem dignified.
