I am really loving Paramore's latest record, Brand New Eyes. So freaking stoked that i'll be able to see them perform at Soundwave next Feb.
Hayley Williams has this powerful, amazing voice and while Paramore's lyrics are nothing unique, they're honest and something i can really relate with the experiences i've had over the last 9 months. Blasting Ignorance or brick by boring brick on the tram can be therapeutic especially when your mind has nothing to occupy itself.

- Ignorance - Friendships, relationships change and more often than not there's some sort of conflict because of that change. i really experienced that this year. This song could pretty much be my anthem of 2009.
- Misguided Ghosts - I heard they recorded this in one take and it's just beautiful. As awesome as Hayley's voice is on their harder, faster tracks, she's fabulous at this gentle, slower tempo.
- All I Wanted - i adore this one. Adore it. Gorgeous, gorgeous love song.
- Playing God - it's not necessarily a favourite but wow did it get stuck in my head! Especially because i have not listened to it as obviously as i did Ignorance or Misery Business and yet i'll just be strolling somewhere and that tune just inserts itself into my brain.
