(no subject)
This weekend sucked pretty bad, I mean who works every day when they are supposed to be resting up for finals? Well instead of giving thanks I was folding sweaters for a good 5 hours. Yeah, welcome to my life. I couldn't go out much because i was working so early and I was exhausted.
Wednesday night I hung out with a bunch of Ewing girls which was fun but strangely surreal. It felt like it was like a 10 year reunion and everyone was trying to show up everyone else with their impressive stories. It wasn't really my scene. So then Kelly and myself snuck off to Melissa's house where we suprised her :). It was good to all be together again, I have missed it. I ended up staying at Melissa's until around midnight sucking it up at this DVD movie game...thanks for rubbing it in Miss. After that I headed over to Dave Hardt's for a bit where I watched the boys play poker and bond. It was a pretty good time. Thanksgiving pretty much wasn't great because I had a choice between undercooked turkey, acorn casserole, and spinach ravioli so I opted for potatoes and oatmeal raisen cookies. Mmmm...but then as if it was a miracle I stopped by my dad's side's thanksgiving dinner and they had really good food so I was fed before work. mmmmmm. Then I worked, which sucked, but Lee came to visit me for like an hour and was AWESOME and I love him for it because I was so bored. After work I went home and SLEPT because oh guess what? I started work at 6 am. When I eventually got off of work at 2 I just went to bed and lounged because I didn't feel like doing much of anything. Then I woke up early Saturday morning and headed off to work AGAIN.
Saturday night was so much fun though. I went to see Just Friends with a whole ginormous group of people and the movie was super funny. I recommend it. Then we ate at Steak and Shake and had a really funny waiter and then we went bowling which pretty much rocked. EVERYONE was at the bowling alley. It was very interesting to see all of the people that I haven't seen in so long. I have missed them :( (I kicked some major butt in bowling though hehe)
This weekend turned out to be pretty fruitful though because I bought Kicking and Screaming, Crash, Fever Pitch and Love Actually. A lot of people are turned off by Love Actually's random porn scene but I think it is very amusing. It's part of life and they're not really doing it so just cover your eyes, it's a great movie. In fact I just finished watching it. Well, I hope that your weekends were all better then mine, except not really because then I would have to be jealous. grrrrrrrr.
