so graemes mum brought down a shopping bag of fresh catnip for wednesday and melville sometime in the spring. it's been sitting on top of the fridge since then. i just gave wednesday a pretty small amount of it and she's totally going bananas. she's bit me for trying to pick up a piece of it and is hopping around the couch to make sure she's not ( Read more... )

as you can see here, wednesday likes to hunt (with a little help). hunting with wednesday is a fairly enjoyable way to pass the time. when you help her get a kill and hear the purrs while she's kronching away. these days if i even step into the bathroom she hops up on the sink and starts purring away and meowing at the ceiling, looking for prey ( Read more... )

So Wednesday has gotten a little more surly in her routine of waking me up for food. One day last week she did her usual poking me with her cute little paw, only with claws out.
