Ok So I am a lousy Gun owner. I blew through 500 Rounds of hand loaded shitty ammo, no jacket, smokey greasey powder... Didn't clean the Beretta when I was done.
Took it to the range today to teach my friend Travis how to shoot with 2 boxes of CCI Blazer FMJ. Every Single Round Didn't feed correctly. An even Mix of Failed Loads, Stove pipes and Slide Jams. I blame partially the Ammo for being too light and aluminum cases for being too fragile. The Rest I blame on myself for taking poor care of my weapon. Bad Doc, Bad.

I sent Travis back out front to buy a box of proper ammunition. It fed well Out of 50 rounds only 1 stove pipe. So a Little Field stripping powder solvent and lubricant and The gun will be fine again.
CCI Blazer might be great in a revolver, but I think it is lacking in semi-auto's.
